Before you focus on acquiring a beautiful sexy body, Whether it's lean Abs or Six Pack or how many Packs you want to have. You might want to consider a change in your lifestyle or a boost on your Health.


How can a lifestyle influence health and diseases?

After acquiring a certain disease due to a very stressful week i decided to write a hub about this.

Major diseases prevalent in the developed and developing countries of the world are not due to infectious organisms, there can be some, but most of them are from the way people live, that is, their lifestyle.

Diseases that fall into this category includes coronary heart disease,stroke,cancer,high blood pressure,skin cancer and of course, Diabetes won't be left out.

There are also disorders that might be added, it may be directly or indirectly related to the fast pace of life and the pressures and emotional conflicts at home, at the workplace and in the society that we live in.

Among these are peptic ulcers, colitis, eczema, heart irregularities,asthma,depressions,neuroses and psychosis, i would like to add some disoders which usually occurs on teenagers mostly on girls, and these are the eating disorders anorexia and bulimia.

It is very obvious that the diseases caused from the lifestyle that we have is widely spread around the world.

An increasing number of studies done in different parts of the world clearly point out that one's habits of life profoundly affect one's well being for better or for worse.

Smoking - Whether it's tobacco or cigarette, there's probably no single habit of life that has been widely and intensely studied for its relationship to health and disease as smoking.

There are findings that not only detail the damaging effects of smoking on a smoker but reveal an ever widening detrimental effect on nonsmokers who are forced to live around smokers and breathe their smoke.

It has long been observed that children who live in a home where one or both parents smoke tend to grow more slowly and are subject to a higher incidence of upper respiratory and other diseases.

There are studies that Nonsmoking wives of smoking husbands have a significantly higher incidence of lung and breast cancer than nonsmoking wives of non smoking husbands. Also it has now been shown that the rate of cancer of the cervix is higher among nonsmoking women who live or work in a smoke filled environment.

We all know that there are other factors that contribute to these diseases such as pollutants both home and outside.

Cholesterol, what is the first thing that comes in your mind when you hear the word cholesterol? It's either bad or good but mostly the cholesterol that we acquire in our daily lives is bad cholesterol. The ratio between good cholesterol(HDL) and bad cholesterol(LDL) is a good indicator of coronary heart disease. The higher the HDL and the lower the LDL the less likely a person is to suffer a heart attack.

How about eating habits? This habits usually occurs on teenage girls, like what iv'e said disorders associated with eating habits are bulimia and anorexia. This is because teenage girls wanted to have a sexy body so even if they just eat a little amount of food they think that they will get fat so what happen is they tend to binge in order to throw up the food that they ate, and also the other disorder is related to the fear of gaining weight which is anorexia nervosa.

People with this kind of disorders will most likely to acquire different diseases such as malnutrition, ulcer etc. so what i can recommend for teenage girls who like to have a body that they want is to have a daily habit of exercise and also eat a regularly don't skip meals and make sure that you get the recommended daily allowance.

How to achieve a healthy lifestyle?

Before anything else let's talk about health first, what makes up for health and what are the requirements for its maintenance and enhancement.

As we all know Health is a state in which every part of the body is working efficiently. Meaning to say if you want to maintain a good health then by all means you must avoid all deficiencies and excesses that can cause an imbalance which can lower your resistance and so contribute to disease and can lead to DEATH.

So, in order to keep all your functions at Peak performance, one must use them judiciously, Have an adequate amount of Rest, Sleep is essential. In my opinion, this is the best medicine,secondary to laughter(LOL).

After all that here are the main components of having healthy lifestyle.

Exercise : Is a must,This should be appropriate to your needs and you should enjoy what you're doing. Familiar with the word atrophy? it is a partial or complete wasting away of a part of a body. Let's put it this way. Once you exercise you notice that your muscles are getting bigger right? and what happens if you don't exercise for a month or two. It gets smaller or it shrink. For what you don't use, you lose.

Rest and sleep : This will help to keep you feel renewed or refreshed each day.

Eat Nutritious Foods : Should be eaten at a regular basis meaning don't skip meals. should be in a maximum quality and in a minimum quantity. Remember that everything that is in excess is bad. so just keep it balance.

Water : Our body needs water internally and externally.

Fresh Air : Just like water air is essential to our health. We can't live without air.

Sunshine : Not too much, UV rays can cause skin cancer. but you must take enough sunshine to provide your body with its rich benefits. VIT. D.

Balance : Provide your body a sense of balance remember that if it's too much it is bad for you. Enough is enough.

Avoid bad habits: If you can avoid these kinds of stuffs such as smoking, drinking too much alcoholic beverages, drugs. Please by all means avoid you don't want to die early don't you?

Mental Serenity: in a mind that is consistently challenged with enobling thoughts, flavored with the conciousness of doing right.

Emotional Composure: Under confilct and abuse, Pervaded with a spirit of cheerfulness and joy. Handle stress carefully.

Trust if Divine Power: Health is not just about the body and mind it also affects the spirit. Have a regular communication with GOD. Pray. For this will undergird your weakness and empower you with resolve.
